The occupant’s primary responsibility will be to provide support to the governance and management of master data. Working closely with the sales, procurement, planning, marketing, customer service, finance and execution teams, with a keen eye on data governance and business needs, the candidate will capture system functionalities and ensure coding is completed according to requirements and governance within our Master Data Management systems.
Analyze, code and update master records across databases
Communicate with related departments for all activities regarding the various projects
Manage data audits
Take part and / or lead meetings for new clients, vendors, material or pricing by acting as the contact person for all coding and governance for data, as well as transactional and reference systems.
Take part in analysis and alignment of processes, and improving current and new system applications
Analyze all data components, follow-up on information with the other departments.
University degree in Administration or equivalent education and training
At least five (5) years of experience in a comparable position
Fluent spoken and written French and English
Intermediate knowledge of the following applications : Word, Excel, and PowerPoint
Knowledge of SAP is an asset
Analysis and problem-solving skills
Ability to work alone or as part of a team
Ability to work effectively without supervision
Ability to facilitate meetings and track progression of projects
