In accordance with the Mission, Vision and Values, and strategic directions of Vancouver Island Health Authority patient safety is a priority and a responsibility shared by everyone at VIHA and as such, the requirement to continuously improve quality and safety is inherent in all aspects of this position.
Under the direction of the Cook or Food Service Superviosr, performs a variety of duties in the Food & Nutrition Services Department including warewashing, cleaning of work areas and equipment, serving and portioning of food for patient, hospital staff and the general public.
Education, Training And Experience
Grade 10 or an equivalent combination of education, training and experience. Food Safe Level 1.
