Intent of the process

Create an inventory which can be used for permanent, temporary, full-time, part-time appointments, or casual employment.

NOTE - casual employment means a short-term employment option to hire persons to the Public Service for a period not to exceed 90 working days in one department in any one calendar year

You must meet all essential qualifications in order to be appointed to the position. Other qualifications may be a deciding factor in choosing the person to be appointed.

In order to be considered, your application must clearly explain how you meet the following (essential qualifications)

Education

Successful completion of a secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and / or experience.

Experience providing client or customer service over the phone or in person

The following will be applied / assessed at a later date (essential for the job)

Client service orientation

The following may be applied / assessed at a later date (may be needed for the job)

Successful completion of secondary school.

Successful completion of post-secondary school diploma (includes community college, CEGEP, technical college or university).

Significant experience providing client or customer service over the phone or in person. (significant experience being at least one year over the last three years)

Experience working in an inbound call / contact centre

Experience working with clients of Veterans Affairs Canada

Experience as a member of the Canadian Armed Forces
