Role description :
The Technical Integrator has accountability to ensure on-board systems meet PTC Regulatory and future Locomotive technology requirements.
He / she ensures that documentation standards are created and maintained, and project timelines, milestones, and stakeholder updates are delivered.
Additional responsibilities include documenting and supporting rail PTC (Positive Train Control) and other Run-time on-board Locomotives, including Locomotive Electronics management systems.
Summary of tasks :
Lead installation and integration of Monitoring Application solutions in labs, test environments and staging.
Oversee and support deployment and integration activities
Document the installation and integration deployment guides, troubleshooting guides and support the architects, developers, and testers
Lead interface with QA, test, Production and Release Management teams
Drive and be accountable for live cut-overs in production and coordinate the activities that are required from project standpoint for applications / solutions working closely with the Project manager.
Mandatory skills :
7-10 years of experience in a similar role in large organization
Technologies : Knowledge working with OS (Linux / Windows), DB (such as Oracle), Networking (such as TCP / IP), NMS / OSS / Monitoring
Soft skills : good communication skills, organisation skills, leadership
