Reporting Analyst

  • Collect and document internal and external data and reporting requirement.
  • Develop and implement data administration policy, standards and models.
  • Design, construct, modify, integrate, implement and test data models and reports in various reporting platforms. (Trams, Agresso, TANYA, Power BI)
  • Coordinate with developers and accounting managers in the development and implementation of Reporting tools. (Power BI, TANYA)
  • Write scripts (SQL, DAX, VBA, CSS) related to stored and automated reporting procedures and scheduled triggers.
  • Extract, transform and loading data from Trams and Agresso to Microsoft Dynamics NAV.
  • Develop and implement policies and procedures for the backup and recovery of data.
  • Prepare and Validate statistical, financial and accounting reports from NAV, Trams and Agresso.
  • Reconcile and adjust data between accounting systems and SABRE
  • Major Areas of Accountability :

    Daily Operations

  • Process daily interface of records between GDS reservations systems and back office accounting systems
  • Research and address reporting errors
  • Identify problematic areas and conduct research to determine the best course of action to correct the data
  • Analyze and problem solve issues with current and planned systems as they relate to the integration and management of sales and reporting data
  • Analyze reports of data duplicates or other errors to provide ongoing appropriate inter-departmental communication and monthly or daily data reports
  • Create / Manage user / agent profiles as required in back office systems
  • Communication with external clients to resolve reporting errors
  • Data Capture

  • In collaboration with others, develop and maintain databases and data systems necessary for projects and department functions
  • Acquire and abstract primary or secondary data from existing internal or external data sources
  • In collaboration with others, develop and implement data collection systems and other strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and data quality
  • Perform data entry
  • Data Reporting

  • In collaboration with others, interpret data and develop recommendations based on findings
  • Perform basic statistical analyses for projects and reports
  • Generate routine and ad hoc reports
  • Other

  • Other duties and special projects as assigned by executive management.
  • Knowledge and Skills Required :

  • Hands on Experience with one or more Travel GDS systems such as Sabre, Apollo, Worldspan, Amadeus essential
  • Working knowledge of back office Travel Accounting Systems such Global Matrix, Travcom or Globalware - as TRAMS back office or Agresso preferred
  • Proven Data Analysis experience
  • Experience in data mining techniques and procedures and knowing when their use is appropriate
  • MS Office Suite : Word, Excel Intermediate / Advanced
  • Exceptional written and oral communication skills; ability to communicate information with professionalism to internal / external audiences
  • An investigative nature with self-initiative to solve problems
  • Ability to multi-task and work in work in a fast paced environment
  • Ability to present complex information in an understandable and compelling manner
