We're looking for an experienced, licensed Electrician to join our team.

Wiring of electrical control panels and machinery in compliance with CSA 22.1 and CSA 22.2 standards, and in accordance with TCA quality, operating, and build practices.
Equipment installation and commissioning at customer facilities.
TCA facility electrical maintenance & additions / alterations.
Execution of duties in a safe and efficient manner in order to meet cost budgets and customer delivery obligations. Must follow TCA’s internal policies and procedures, the Ontario Health and Safety Act, and additionally, customer policies and procedures when working on-site.
Review and interpret electrical drawings to determine appropriate layout architecture of industrial electrical equipment, terminations, and field wiring distribution.
Assembly of panel components, panel wiring, labelling, termination, field wiring and termination.
Troubleshooting and testing of electrical and electronic equipment and components.
Organization and maintenance of build materials and electrical stock.
Reporting of daily progress as required by Electrical Team Leader and / or engineering staff. Work closely with assembly and engineering staff in regards to project details, design / build issues, alterations, project schedule, conflicts, etc.
Monitor current and upcoming workload and advise Electrical Team Leader regarding the need for additional personnel resources.
Maintain electrical build drawings by red-lining shop copy to as-built state.
Participate in periodic project design reviews.
Liaise & co-ordinate electrical inspections with local inspector.
Periodic travel to customer's site to facilitate equipment installation, assist in start-up, operator training, maintenance training and machine service (Periodic work outside of normal business hours may be required).
Other related responsibilities may be assigned from time to time.
Electrical trade certification. (309A / 442A)
5+ years experience in development and integration of factory automation equipment, panel building and machine wiring.
Must be able to read and interpret electrical schematics.
Familiarity with design standards including CE, CSA, UL ,NEC, EN, and others.
Good oral and written communication skills. Must exhibit professional and courteous communication / interaction in any environment and under any circumstances with Customers, Vendors, Engineers, Electricians, Technicians, and other team members.
Strong organization skills and a high level of self-motivation.
Strong understanding of the Ontario / Canadian Electrical codes
Strong logical and methodical reasoning capabilities.
Ability to work cooperatively and effectively within a multi-discipline environment.
Able to independently complete all specific responsibilities with little to moderate supervision.
Candidates must have a valid passport and drivers license with which to travel seamlessly through Canada, the USA, Mexico, Europe, and China.
