The screening questions will be used as the primary tool in the screening process and the résumé will only be used to substantiate the information provided.

In your response to the screening questions, please provide concrete examples and the following MANDATORY information :

  • 2. Title of the position occupied and duration for which you exercised the functions;
  • 3. Specific details of tasks, projects, or accomplishments demonstrating how the experience was acquired.


    In addition to your application, you will need to complete and submit an on-line exam that is estimated to take approximately 60 minutes.

    Please note that there is no time limit to complete the exam, however it must be submitted before the closing time of the advertisement.

  • Intent of the process

    A pool of partially or fully qualified candidates will be established from this process which may be used to staff similar positions within the Department of Justice with various tenures, linguistic profiles (bilingual imperative only), work locations, operational requirements and / or conditions of employment, which may vary according to the position to be staffed.

  • ED1 - A secondary school diploma or an acceptable combination of education, training and / or experience.

  • EX1 - Experience in providing administrative support in an office environment.

  • AEX1 - Experience extracting, preparing and analyzing data reports using MS Excel.
  • AEX2 - Experience in providing administrative support in Staffing.
  • AEX3 - Experience in providing administrative support in Classification.
  • AEX4 - Experience in providing administrative support in Labour Relations.
  • AEX5 - Experience in providing administrative support in Learning.
  • AEX6 - Experience in providing administrative support in Compensation.
  • AEX6 - Experience in entering and maintaining Human Resources data in PeopleSoft.
