This key role will support the Sales Representative,including LCBO stores, Grocery Stores and OP licensees as it relates to thefollowing :
Merchandising : distribute and ensure all value add is on products within the select areastores. Support any corporate orindependent licensee program with merchandising activities
Policing : willensure every store within range is up to speed with current thematic and imageactivity.
Displays : building displays and lugging cases of wine from the back room to the floor inboth LCBO and Grocery
Staff Tastings / LD / SD : Sample LCBO staff on new products and close the listing once complete. RTD : The incumbent will be fully responsiblefor selling and executing the LD / SD targets provided to them during therefreshment season.
Material dropoffs / IST’s : Full support of retail, grocery and licensee demands. Move product around to accommodate andgenerate more sales.
Relationship buildingwith custrs : Full support of retail, grocery and OP customerrelationships. Build and strengthencurrent relationship.
Maintain monthlyobjectives set by Sales Rep : Reach and be accountable for monthly R2’s andcommunicate all relative info to sales rep.
Achieve Targeted Sales drives andListing Drives. SD includes : Staff Picks, Fridge Placements, Ad hoc Displays.LD includes : New Product listing and Existing brand focus skus listing.
College or University diploma preferred.
Previous beverage alcohol sales experience a definite asset.
Microsoft Office with Excel skills.
Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal,with the ability to develop partnerships quickly, internally and with thecustomer.
Strong organizational skills, with the ability to prioritizeand multi-task.
Self-started and works well independently is imperative.
Physically Able (demanding at times)
Must have a valid driver’s license with no impeding offenses
Must have their own vehicle
Must be SMART SERVED
Must live in Toronto or Etobicoke
