The Implementation Analyst on the Digital Intelligence (DI) team champions the integrity and quality of web behaviour data for all of eCommerce.

In this role, you will work directly with partnering developers across multiple product streams to set the standard of excellence for implementation, ensuring that reliable data flows across the desktop, mobile, and app reporting suites in our Adobe Platform.

You will work closely with Digital Analysts to understand business questions regarding website changes, features, online customer behaviours, and create the technical solution designs for tagging on the site.

At the core, you will be responsible for the governance and best practices of data tracking throughout the department.

As an Implementation Analyst, you will

  • Work closely with business leads, product owners, marketing and digital analytics partners to identify the business requirements and value of data that needs to be tracked
  • Work directly with developers to implement tracking using Adobe Launch and Dynamic Tag Management (DTM), ensuring accurate data flow into our heavily integrated Adobe Platform (Analytics, Audience, and Target)
  • Lead the Adobe Analytics QA program to identify, troubleshoot, debug, and optimize configuration across multiple Adobe reporting suites
  • Work with developers to design strategies for new site features and properties, ensuring data alignment and integrity of new and existing tracking
  • Help with the prioritization of numerous data tracking requests from a variety of stakeholders including peers and senior executives
  • Translate technical tracking issues to non-technical stakeholders, regularly communicating detailed insights and / or recommendations
  • Guide the development of documentation, training, and communications of processes and best practices for web analytics tracking and implementation (e.g. SDRs)

  • The experience we need

  • University degree or equivalent in Computer Science, Business, Mathematics, Statistics, or related field
  • Advanced proficiency with a Tag Management Solution such as Adobe Dynamic Tag Manager (DTM), Adobe Launch, Google Tag Manager, Tealium, TagCommander or equivalent
  • Deep understanding of tracking solution specs including data layer elements, props, eVars, and event variables
  • Familiarity with iOS, iPad, and Android implementation, as well as SPA web platforms including React.js
  • Familiarity with front-end code including HTML, CSS and Javascript to manage relationships with developers
  • 2+ years experience providing technical solutions and facilitation to large organizations, with the objective of solving business problems and / or generating growth
  • Experience managing and prioritizing numerous requests from multiple stakeholders

  • 1+ year(s) experience working for an eCommerce organization
  • 1+ year(s) experience working in a fast-paced, results-oriented Agile environment; familiarity with JIRA, Confluence
  • Experience working with at least one tag auditing tool such as ObservePoint
  • Business understanding of the retail and eCommerce space
