The Opportunity

Our downtown client is adding a dedicated testing resource to its dynamic development team. They require a QA Analyst who has previous experience with automated testing and a track record of helping build cases and processes for testing.

The successful candidate will be self motivated and bring strong interpersonal and multitasking skills.

Key Account Responsibilities and Functions

  • Develop software tests for functional, performance, and regression testing
  • Set up and enhance existing automation framework
  • Work closely with development team on automate test strategy, test approach and QA standards
  • Be the team’s champion for quality and ensure quality standards are met across software projects
  • Define QA standards and processes in an agile framework
  • Build upon, improve and fine tune existing automated build and release processes
  • Required Skills and Qualifications

  • 3+ years QA software testing experience (must be a blend of manual and automation; experience writing and executing functional, performance and regression testing)
  • 1+ year experience in defining and building automation framework
  • Hands on testing experience using MS Test Manager and Team Services
  • Experience providing testing for the following development environment : Agile methodology, .NET, C#, TFS / GIT, MSBuild and Powershell
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills
  • Self directed with intrinsic motivation to continually improve QA process
  • Compensation and Benefits

  • Up to $80,000 depending on experience
