Take the lead and take on responsibility in our various production areas Logistics / Paint / Assembly / Leather / Wood.

As a Production Supervisor / Manager you will be responsible for the operational shift within a production area for the delivery of productivity, quality and cost / vehicle targets.

You will have overall accountability for manpower utilisation and planning for the whole shift, with a direct influence on productivity, ensuring logistics, parts and maintenance issues are dealt with quickly.

You will ensure production operates smoothly by making prompt decisions about appropriate action on a variety of topics such as equipment issues, quality topics or logistics supply shortages.

As the focal point of your team, you will direct production communication within the team as well as towards senior management and other support functions / departments.

You will coach and develop your team members on an on-going basis, particularly in structured problem-solving and continuous improvement areas, which is a key element to the development and strength of our organisation.

As our business expands, we will be looking for Process Leaders in all of our production areas, including :

  • Assembly
  • Surface Finish (Paint)
  • Physical Logistics
  • Qualifications and experience

    You will have :

  • Significant experience in a production environment, preferably within the motor industry, ideally supported by a qualification in Production or Mechanical Engineering.
  • The motivation, multi-tasking and communication skills to quickly develop a strong, results-driven team, instilled with trust and openness.
  • Excellent communication and people skills to deal calmly and patiently with a variety of pressurised situations.
  • Exceptional organisation and planning skills to co-ordinate all activities of your team, retaining full flexibility to handle changing production requirements as required.
  • A proven track record of structured, analytical thinking to solve complex problems, and the ability to coach your team to deliver solutions.
  • A real knowledge and passion for the Rolls-Royce Motor Cars product range.
  • Experience of SAP and BMW systems is desirable.
