The incumbent will cover the Centre of Quebec area and will report to the Senior Manager Business Development.
Your main challenges :
Identify emerging business opportunities in your market and advise managers in your sector on the appropriate action to take
Propose new products, services and technological sales tools and optimize existing ones in order to meet clients' changing needs with the goal of acquiring and retaining clients
Act as expert advisor to clients and various Bank sectors
Develop and implement growth strategies that are in line with corporate orientations and client-centric
Develop profitable business relationships with existing and potential clients in your market
Establish a preferred relationship with clients and ensure client satisfaction by providing personalized, efficient service
More specifically, you will :
Track changes in strategies, new developments, and products and services developed by competitors. Further, you will suggest strategies that will enable the sector to reach its objectives by maintaining and strengthening its position in the market.
Develop new business opportunities through presentations and offensives aimed at self-employed workers, professional associations and targeted partners.
Negotiate and present customized contracts that meet the needs of high-level clients.
Ensure the maximum growth of revenue, profitability and assets under management for National Bank Direct Brokerage.
Refer clients to other Bank sectors in cases where your sector is not in the position to meet their needs.
Identify and develop external partnerships in order to generate business opportunities.
Prepare and carry out quarterly action plans aimed at growing NBDB's market share and support managers in the Bank network in achieving their net investment and savings inflow objectives.
In partnership with advisors in the Bank network, meet with self-employed clients in order to present NBDB solutions with the goal of acquiring and retaining clients.
Develop and lead classroom seminars, webinars, lunch meetings and other events aimed at current and potential clients in order to boost client knowledge, develop new markets and acquire new clients.
Support advisors and managers in identifying investment indicators and business opportunities and help them identify and close potential sales for Wealth Management.
Lead workshops and sales meetings with managers and advisors in order to foster dialogue on best practices for acquiring new clients and help them develop the necessary knowledge and skills for closing sales.
Provide specialized coaching on NBDB products and services to advisors and managers in your region.
A completed bachelor's degree in a related area of activity plus seven years' relevant experience, or a completed master's degree in a related area of activity plus five years' relevant experience
Active investment representative license with IIROC, which requires completion of the CSC and CSI Conduct and Practices Handbook Course
Experience in sales and business development involving clients and advisors
Excellent knowledge of the brokerage industry (in Canada and the US)
Knowledge of investment and securities products and services
A strong ability to develop lasting business relationships with a target clientele
Ability to organize and deliver high-level conferences for potential and current Bank clients

Bilingual French-English, spoken and written
