The Opportunity

To help continue fuel our growth, we are looking for an articulate, customer oriented, and technically minded Sales Engineer to expand our Sales team.

This is a unique career opportunity to engage with future potential customers in the Payments, e-Commerce, Finserv, and Technology verticals.

This role will report into the Sales Manager. This is a full-time position in our downtown Vancouver HQ, walking distance from shops, restaurants, and public transit.

Compensation is based on experience and includes stock options and benefits.

As a Sales Engineer you will...

  • Support the Sales team as the technical expert for Trulioo’s GlobalGateway platform during pre-sales customer calls and presentations
  • Develop and maintain expert knowledge of Trulioo’s GlobalGateway platform and all associated products
  • Support Trulioo Enterprise and VIP clients in pre-sales, implementation and ongoing API integration projects
  • Collaborate with sales, product, and support teams to enhance sales process and improve proof of concept / trial success rates
  • Provide an exceptional customer service experience to ensure Trulioo maintains our position as the leading trusted expert in Identity Verification
  • Use market and technical knowledge to consult on best practices and offer constructive direction for implementation
  • Educate customers on all resources available to them in an effort to increase Trulioo’s value proposition
  • Consistently communicate with decision-makers to understand their identity verification needs and business requirements
  • Coordinate and perform product demos as required
  • We’re looking for someone who has

  • Technical Post-Secondary Degree or combination of relevant experience and education
  • 2+ years of previous experience in a sales engineer or product role, preferably B2B within a tech startup environment
  • Technical background with familiarity in JSON, Rest API and Cloud Solutions
  • Proven Team player
  • Exceptional verbal and written communication skills to successfully articulate technical product specifications and product value propositions
  • Strong business and technical aptitude with a proven ability to quickly learn new technologies
  • It’s a bonus if you have

  • Experience analyzing data sets and presenting those findings to customers
  • Experience with financial, compliance and / or regulatory industries
  • Familiarity with SaaS products
