The successful candidate will instruct GEOL 2290 - Stratigraphy and Sedimentary Geology for the Fall 2017 semester. This will consist of three lectures weekly and a weekly two-
hour laboratory. In the course, students explore physical and biological stratigraphy, facies and correlation, sequence concepts, and basin analysis.
Topics include the origin, diagenesis, and geochemistry of sediments and sedimentary rock.
PhD in geology or geoscience; M. Sc. may be considered.
Professional Geoscientist or Geologist designation would be an asset.
Post-secondary teaching experience is required.
