This position is an essential part of our install operation for delivery of fixed price orders. Experience with electrical permit application and closure with municipalities is a plus.
Administrative tasks to process permits, project documents, purchase orders, job cost transfers and other administrative duties as required.
How you will do it
Provides quick, courteous, and professional services to all internal and external customers
Use computer word processing, spreadsheet, and database software to prepare purchase orders, memos, and documents
Distribute scope of work documents, forms, and reports as requested in timely manner
Create and submit electrical permit applications to municipalitiesand BC Safety Authority
Use AS400 computer software to prepare invoices
Submit purchase orders to vendors and track timely delivery and accuracy
Code and file material according to the established procedures
Make travel and other arrangements for staff
Complete internal Job Cost Transfers to assist Project Managers on proper cost allocations
Raise any concerns with project processing and paperwork with project managers
Perform additional duties as required
1 -3 years customer service experience
2 or more years of experience in an office environment.
Ability to multi-task working in a fast paced environment
Strong personal computer skills : Excel, Word, Outlook
Excellent written and verbal communication skills with both internal and external customers.
Experience with a data entry system preferred
Demonstrated time management, organizational and conflict resolution abilities.
Project management operations experience
Excellent follow-up and execution skills
