to the Altus Expert Services team, reporting directly to our President, Carl Farrell. Someone who shares, and can execute on, his vision to align Altus Group’s sales strategy and processes over the Expert Services lines of business.

  • This is a newly created role and one that will impact the speed at which we grow. With year-over-year increased profits and market share;
  • Altus Group continues to scale at an impressive rate. Our new VP, Business Development will lead us to even greater heights by expanding current client relationships beyond their existing commitment;
  • developing relationships with key stakeholders on a global level and leading a global team of Business Development Representatives to successfully grow customer engagement with Altus Group’s portfolio of Expert Services.

    You have grown your career as a leader in sales, selling consulting or software services to the Commercial Real Estate Industry.

    A forward-thinking, experienced and responsive team builder, you understand the key to success is gaining the trust of internal and external stakeholders through leadership and a have deep understanding of how to manage processes and inspire your team towards success.

    As the new VP, Business Development, you will be :

  • A strategic leader and collaborator : Working with Marketing to create digital collateral and selling tools, campaigns and events to increase brand awareness to drive lead generation.
  • Partnering with Operations groups to streamline and improve processes, systems and deliverables.Recruiting and developing a high performance global sales team.

    Creating sales processes and establishing relevant management metrics.

  • An innovative visionary and thought leader : Planning, executing and managing end-to-end sales strategies for accounts to meet sales performance targets.
  • Presenting at industry events as required to build understanding of Altus Group’s value opportunities for prospective clients.

    Heading up expansion in new markets as well as continued expansion among existing clients.Collaborating with key stakeholders to deliver improvements in products by feeding back all suggestions for improvement and market research.

  • A subject matter expert : Overseeing enterprise level new business contracts and expansion opportunities.Overseeing negotiations, navigating complex decision-
  • making and overcoming objections to closure.Developing and delivering business solution presentations to all levels of prospects management.

    Position Requirements :

    Our new VP, Business Development will have :

  • The business development expertise. You bring an impressive track record and history of carrying and exceeding a CRE solutions sales quota with an exceptional ability to present compelling value propositions and convert prospects.
  • The leadership experience. You have strengths in negotiation, conflict resolution, people management and relationship management.
  • The innovation. You are experienced in identifying unique solutions that solve complex business challenges with a highly analytical approach to developing growth strategies drawing from both data and practical knowledge.
  • The collaborative and communication skills. You are customer-focused with a keen attention to detail and ability to translate requirements into action.
  • The technical knowledge. Extensive experience with a CRM such as Salesforce; expertise in MS Office; the ability to learn new tools and technologies rapidly.
