Our client, a leading manufacturer of high alloyed specialty metals and precision cutting, is recruiting for an Administrative Assistant.
This is an excellent opportunity to join an internationally recognized and reputable company. Reporting to the Plant Administrator, this position would be responsible to print Daily Reports for the Managers, photocopy Sales Order Weights and email to Head Office, reconcile invoices and purchase orders, receive, enter and reconcile PO’s;
monthly reconciliation of Log books and send copies to Head Office, maintain manual spreadsheets, courier batching, support the Sales Department by emailing and printing all orders with back up paperwork, customer service, purchasing support and material requistition, invoicing, maintain company standards in the areas of housekeeping, attendance and teamwork, other duties as assigned.
$15 / hr - $18 / hr, depending on experience
Straight days. No nights. No weekends

The ideal candidate will have the following skills, attributes and experience :
5+ years of administrative assistant experience in an industrial production environment
Able to work in a team environment.
Adept at performing difficult data entry functions
Strong administrative and organizational skills
Able to prioritize and multi-task
Highly developed communication and written skills
Solid knowlege of all Microsoft Office products
Knowledge of the "Metals" industry would be an asset
Reliable transportation. Not public transit accessible
