EA’s Capture Lab is seeking a Development Director.

Responsibilities

  • Creates production schedules that maximize quality and scope within resource, financial, and development team constraints
  • Identify and manage risk
  • Lead discussions around impact, mitigation and solve problems, while balancing priorities, to achieve goal
  • Track internal and external dependencies
  • Contributes to creating a capable production team that seeks opportunities to operate at their potential and takes pride in their accomplishments
  • Provide strong leadership to the team, inspire and motivates them through personal example, enthusiasm, integrity, and dedication
  • Train the team on best practices, processes, and standards as needed
  • Manage stakeholder communication and requirements
  • Establish trust and credibility, builds and maintains effective partnerships with immediate and external teams
  • Identify, assign, and track development and organizational issues to completion
  • Report production status at regular intervals, escalate urgent issues in a timely manner
  • Manages production paperwork for efficient production team communication : script breakdown, performer and crew schedules, daily production reports etc.
  • Unify production processes and drive consistency across locations
  • Identify the evolution of our business and innovate workflows that can grow our process to meet new factors.
  • Provide innovation and recommendation of long-term initiatives that will have an impact on future projects and business direction.
  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of production management, including experience in the video gaming industry
  • Experience of Pre-Production, Production and Post Production pipeline
  • College diploma or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience working in a central support team
  • Experience building budgets and plans for large and small production projects
  • Project management experience; knowledgeable with SCRUM, Waterfall or Agile programs
  • Experience planning complex schedules that include performer and crew travel as well as, tour and shipping logistics
  • Excellent written and verbal communication are a must. English is the required language of work

    The Capture Lab is seeking a Development Director who acts as the primary point-of-contact between EA’s development game teams and production stakeholders.

    They are accountable for production planning and management, resource scheduling and budgeting. They manage projects, ensuring deliverables are uncompromised and delivered to budget and schedule.

  • Qualifications :

  • Minimum of 5 years of production management, project management or team leadership experience
  • Experience of Pre-Production, Production and Post Production pipeline
  • Education requirement University degree bachelor’s or equivalent professional experience
  • Experience working in a central support team
  • Experience building budgets and plans for large and small production projects
  • Project management experience; knowledgeable with SCRUM, Waterfall or Agile programs
  • Experience planning complex schedules that include performer and crew travel as well as, tour and shipping logistics
  • Extraordinary skills with Microsoft Office : Word, Excel, Outlook, PowerPoint
  • Valid Passport and is willing to travel
  • Experience in production management
  • Must possess situational awareness and partnership management capabilities.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication are a must, and the candidate must also possess strong emotional intelligence.
