Electronic Arts (EA) is looking for a dynamic, highly motivated Senior Director, Global Brand Management. Reporting to the Vice President of Global Brand Management, you will be responsible for developing the long-

term brand strategy, partnering with development on multi-year product roadmaps, driving always-on live services, and guiding a global cross-

functional organization to bring an innovative intellectual property to players around the world built by our studio in Vancouver, BC.

The ideal candidate is a world class brand strategist, progressive thinker with experience launching AAA games, knows the player, can drive a live service, and explore new business models across gaming platforms.

They must have the ability to partner with multiple teams, process analytics and consumer insights into clear business, brand, product, and live service strategy.

Key Responsibilities :

  • Develop and lead the brand, product, and live service strategy for a new intellectual property.
  • Define long-term brand vision, brand identity and creative direction that ensure consistency in messaging across all player touchpoints.
  • Partner with studio game team to develop product roadmap and strategic plans around user acquisition, engagement and retention, and ensure game development aligns to player needs.
  • Collaborate with Consumer Insights team throughout the product lifecycle to test player needs, game concepts / features, positioning, gameplay testing, and improve player experiences based on those findings.
  • Work closely with cross functional teams in publishing, creative services, channel marketing, and sales to deliver product branding, positioning, audience insights and overall marketing strategies / go-to-market plans.
  • Analyze performance data, including sales and in-game data, to identify opportunities and challenges, then create strategies to drive results.
  • Conduct ongoing product and competitive marketing analysis to ensure consumer and market trends are informing key strategies.
  • Curate, share, and manage live services business insights by which every cross-functional team who contributes to the end-
  • to-end player journey builds their plans.

    Qualifications :

  • BA / BS from a top-tier institution and MBA preferred.
  • Minimum 12+ years experience in marketing roles at top tier companies, especially in entertainment, consulting, e-commerce, live services, mobile or interactive entertainment.
  • Experience in all major areas of marketing, including mobile, online and offline, brand and product marketing, search, CRM, social media and PR.
  • Demonstrated success at building relationships with studio / development organizations.
  • Project Management and coordination across functional groups and external partners.
  • Strong expertise / understanding of mobile, consumer live service, e-commerce.
  • Solid business, analytical and critical thinking skills.
  • Ability to build relationships at executive level.
  • Strong communicator and collaborator.
