  • Participate in PPAP and APQP meetings and completing all APQP tasks
  • Completes Supplier and Customer sampling and control plan requirements
  • Ensure all products shipped meets customer specifications while managing quality program launches
  • Check fixture designs and customer sampling plans
  • Evaluate suppliers’ PPAP and meeting of customer’s change requirements
  • Design, execute, and evaluate quality systems to assigned products (IE. Control plans)
  • Maintain and lead the tool / gauge and equipment designs making sure they fit customer specifications and standards while ensuring the library is up to date
  • Ensure all products manufactured and purchased are of standard and applicable engineering changes are applied
  • Ability to travel as required

  • University undergraduate degree in Engineering or Industrial Engineering
  • ASQ certification an asset
  • Minimum 3-5 years in the automotive industry with a strong technical background
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and strong knowledge of GD&T
  • Experience with Lean Manufacturing, FMEA, PPAP, APQP, DOE and Red X or similar tool
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Attention to detail and a high degree of accuracy
  • Proficient with planning, prioritization, and execution of tasks
