What the role is all about :
As the Snow School Scheduler, you will oversee a large portion of the snow school administration primarily revolving around the schedule, staff communication, client communication.
Delivering consistency of scheduling, maintaining capacities of programs to maximize sales and managing labor. You will be a key person in dealing with staff emails and answering in a timely and effective manner.
You will improve guest experiences by answering calls and emails in a timely fashion and assisting with questions.
Responsibilities-You will be required but not limited to :
Provide excellent customer service by conducting call backs and responding to emails in a timely fashion
Liaise with Snow School team leads to develop an accurate schedule for all snow school and schools programming.
Assist in covering On Snow Team Lead role when needed.
Monitor and manage time off requests, shift changes and scheduling concerns with staff and keeping the schedule up to date
Act as first point of contact for Instructors.
Provide feedback to instructors throughout the season and act as a mentor / role model to the team.
Streamline staff communication through emails, phone calls and Facebook
Streamline customer enquiries and provide the correct information to the customer
Email all customers the information packs prior to program start dates
Monitor capacities to control staff labor to control expenses and maximize sales
Make sure schedule is up to date for payroll purposes
Manage all snow school emails, answering all in a timely manner or passing them to the relevant people
Communicating with Guest services to aid customers and assist in private requests, increasing lesson capacities and closing programs down.
Track inventory of equipment, progress cards, class cards and distribute accordingly.
Responsible for in-depth product knowledge and understanding of all Ski & Snowboard programs as well as all WinSport products, policies and procedures
Assist with enforcement of Ski & Snowboard School and WinSport rules and regulations.
Act as an ambassador for the Snow School and WinSport
Other Duties as required
Experience in an admin role considered an asset
Experience with Microsoft office, primarily outlook, word and excel
Demonstrate and apply leadership skills and excellent customer service
Experience with scheduling in a fast pace, dynamic environment considered and asset
Strong customer service skills.
Strong communication skills
Strong decision making skills are essential
Leadership in the industry or related industry is considered an asset
Must be enthusiastic and bring a positive attitude to work.
Ability to demonstrate the understanding of a Team Player
Good understanding of Ski / Snowboard Industry
Physical Demands :
Must be able to lift, carry, push or pull objects up to 20lb occasionally
Seasonal, winter position
Dynamic working environment
Activities will concentrate primarily indoors. Some outdoor activity is required
