The supervisor is primarily responsible for provision of patient care in the absence of the managers of the acute care and the long-
term care departments. During the night shift the supervisor is directly responsible for the provision of patient care in the Emergency Department.
The position is also responsible for coordination of the functions within the facility as well as providing resources to other staff using sound judgement and leadership skills.
A minimum of three (3) years of nursing experience with an emphases on acute care. Education and experience in primary nursing is an asset.
If able to qualify as a Nurse Practitioner with SRNA, inclusion of primary care skills will be included in course of duties.

Scheduled hours of work may be reduced during designate / statutory holidays.
