From a retail perspective, Partner Solutions directly supports $3.7B of annual consumer and business solution customer revenue through wireless roaming and wireline connectivity requirements.

The team is always looking for new ways to enable TELUS, whether by reducing our U.S. and international roaming costs, providing our customers with better value for money, increasing LTE coverage, or delivering an exceptional cost efficiency program support.

Here’s the impact you’ll make and what we’ll accomplish together

Reporting to the President of TELUS Partner Solutions, you will elaborate and apply the business strategy aiming at generating solid EBITDA financials.

You will be in charge of the product development for new and emerging products & existing data and voice product portfolios.

You will also manage the roaming operations for all of TELUS whilst leading negotiations with domestic & international Carriers.

Finally, you will support the predictive analytics & business intelligence teams.

Here’s how

  • Focusing on developing breakthrough objectives including Global Mobile Connectivity (GMC), Connected Car, Global TELUS Health Exchange, IOT, SDF, A2P & many other initiatives
  • Responsible for implementing strategically critical VoLTE roll out on a global basis
  • Continue to evolve and transform our broadband data and voice product portfolios
  • Effectively manage all key financial metrics of the business
  • Enhance TELUS' ability to forge strong relationships with senior level executives in target clients
  • Responsible for managing TELUS' relationships with Major Canadian, US and Global Carriers in Europe, Asia, Latin & South America
  • Create a high performance culture by promoting an energized environment and opportunities for individuals to grow
  • Provide inspirational leadership to the Partner Solutions Strategy, Enablement and Optimization team and ensure they have the skills, resources, and motivation to execute against a very aggressive business plan
  • Ensure that there are strong management and productivity measurement processes in place for all of the Strategy, Enablement and Optimization Directors, managers and their teams
  • Attract and retain talented, motivated people who fit the TELUS culture
  • Train, coach and develop the Directors and support them with the tools to get the most from their teams
  • Qualifications

  • Knowledge : With an in depth knowledge of economics and competition principles for the telecommunications industry and of its regulatory and financial environments With the Knowledge of global service providers With an in depth technical knowledge of business planning principles, risk assessment, opportunities analysis and implications of strategic initiatives with an ability to link that to the telecommunications industry With a broad based business development knowledge with a strong understanding of both external business environment and corporate strategic agenda
  • Skills & Abilities : Demonstrated strong ability to manage customer relationships at senior levels A combination of transactional orientation for success in small to large business markets with a strategic long-
  • term orientation for the major global tier one relationships Inspiring and credible leader, with a strong customer focus while being capable of motivating and developing a strong performing team Ability to adapt to changing situations and environments, focus on continuous improvement and change management Positive attitude with demonstrated excellence in planning and organizing multiple priorities Excellent problem solving and decision making capabilities Motivated and action oriented person who prioritizes results and growth

  • Professional Designation / Certification & Experience : Bachelor of Commerce or Business Administration along with a graduate degree would be preferred -
  • or an equivalent level of experience and education Experience in global roles including strategy and product development, sales and marketing, with both wholesale or enterprise customer market Experience with managing global roaming operations Strong technology background in IT, software and telecommunications services Willing to travel
