As a Graduate / Junior Engineer, you’ll have the chance to support local municipalities, British Columbia Ministry of Transportation and Infrastructure, TransLink and private clients in British Columbia.

Our projects include full project scope including the planning, design and construction phases. Under full or partial supervision, the individual will perform the routine aspects of engineering assignments requiring knowledge and application of basic engineering principles for transportation projects.

Working with other members of the team, you’ll perform engineering calculations, produce engineering reports, perform site inspections, complete field work including construction supervision and assist with roadway designs within Civil 3D.

During your time with us, you will provide project management support to all PMs within our group including; invoicing support, proposal preparation, financial forecasting support, as well as project documentation and assisting with document and plan preparation.

The minimum qualifications for this position are :

  • Bachelors’ degree in Civil, Civil and Environmental, or Transportation engineering discipline.
  • Knowledge of principles, theories, and practices of Engineering
  • 0 to 2 years’ experience.
  • Knowledge of principles and methods of engineering in the Transportation industry
  • Intent to apply for and obtain British Columbia Engineer In Training (EIT) and / or Professional Engineer License (P.Eng.
  • designation upon meeting professional experience requirements.

  • Proficient with Civil 3D and AutoCAD
  • Efficient with Excel and data analysis
  • Experience with traffic modelling software (Synchro, SimTraffic, VISSIM)
  • Intuitive understanding and appreciation of group dynamics / team development
  • Role can be located in any Canadian office location - Vancouver, Calgary, Edmonton, Winnipeg, Ottawa, Kitchener, or Toronto.

    The ideal candidate will possess the following skills and experience :

  • Previous consulting engineering experience is an asset
  • Civil 3D and AutoCAD experience an asset
