Description : SUMMARY
Implement analysis and reporting on direct marketing strategies and tactics utilizing internal and external database sources, with the goal of improving campaign efficiency and effectiveness.
Support the maintenance of an integrated prospect and customer database used to implement acquisition and onboard marketing campaigns.
DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES
Work with internal business owners and external vendors to identify, define and implement required updates to the Direct Marketing Database and the Trade Marketing Database.
Conduct quarterly reviews of business rules used to define marketability and trigger campaigns. Work with marketing groups to implement changes.
Develop key performance indicators and reports to measure the value of the database content for prospect and guest contacts and identify opportunities to improve contact quality.
Use Database Reporting tools to perform complex data analysis on direct marketing strategies to provide relevant information on the effectiveness and efficiency of direct marketing efforts to department management.
Create and maintain a detailed profile of the direct marketing strategies of competitors and of current and historical Norwegian Cruise Line direct marketing strategies.
Regularly provide competitive assessments to team management.
Evaluate the effectiveness of marketing prioritization tactics such as segmentations and models using campaign results data and bookings data.
Develop recommendations to improve prioritization tactics.
Assist in the development of presentations on direct marketing strategies and database improvement initiatives to be presented to department management.
Maintain a positive business relationship with all appropriate internal and external partners.
Develop a strong working relationship with Database vendor.
Perform other job related functions as assigned.
Bachelor's Degree in Marketing or related field of study; or any equivalent combination of education and relevant work experience preferably with a large corporation.
2-4 years of work experience in Marketing or Management Consulting, with a strong emphasis on analytics. Experience with database tools and SQL / statistical programming languages a plus.
KNOWLEDGE AND SKILLS
Advanced problem-solving, project management, and analytical skills. Intermediate level working knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite, Excel, PowerPoint and Outlook.
Ability to easily work in a busy environment with deadlines. Interpersonal skills to work successfully in a team-based environment and cross-
departmental role. Excellent written and oral communication skills to effectively communicate with team members of all levels within the organization.
