Work with users, developers and technical resources to implement enhancements.
Provide front-line end user support for LIMS and other E, H&S software.
Provide ongoing training sessions for LIMS and other E, H&S software.
Assisting with hardware deployment and connectivity to the LIMS system.
Produce / maintain training materials and system documentation.
Assist with supporting various laboratory processes and Quality Control initiatives.
Possibility of being assigned as a resource for projects.
Possibility of being assigned and coordinate special or ad hoc projects as needed.

Post-secondary education in Science, Computer Science or a related field is an asset
A minimum of 5 years’ experience programing is an asset
Laboratory experience is an asset
Previous experience with computer programming and databases is an asset.
Excellent understanding of LIMS applications and procedures.
Solid understanding of various lab procedures and general knowledge of instrumentation.
Demonstrates excellent English verbal and written communication skills including grammar and composition.
Candidates must be proficient in using various types of computer software (Word, Excel. PowerPoint & Outlook).
Strong problem-solving skills.
Proven ability to manage and coordinate multiple projects in a fast-paced, highly professional environment.
Ability to work well with others & independently.
Proven time management skills and a strong attention to detail.
Works well under pressure.
Extended hours and shift work may be required from time to time.
Travel to other SGS locations or client location may be required from time to time.
