wide services to provide leverage to the Firm's businesses.
Position Description :
We are looking for an experienced, innovative, hands-on developer to join the Elemental Reference Data development team.
The Elemental Reference Data platform is an enterprise platform used to store and deliver business critical data such as ISO standard country, currency and venue data, business and non-
business day calendars and trading hours. This data is distributed to over 300 applications across the enterprise and is critical to the daily operations of the Firm.
Our technology stack consists of Perl, Python, Java and Scala, with databases in Sybase and DB2 and a data maintenance user interface developed with Angular.
We are also planning to renovate our platform and are currently investigating technologies such as Gemfire and ElasticSearch based caches and additional database platforms such as MongoDB.
In addition to technical qualifications, we are looking for a highly motivated candidate who is able to operate in a dynamic environment with strong communication and organization skills.
Qualified candidates should have excellent analytical and problem solving skills. Experience with Agile development is a plus.
