The Department of English and Modern Languages at Thompson Rivers University, Williams Lake campus, invites applications for a tenure-
track bipartite position at the rank of Lecturer. Bipartite positions at TRU are teaching-focused appointments. The position is subject to budgetary approval and is scheduled to commence on July 1, 2018.
The successful candidate must have the versatility to teach a variety of undergraduate courses in the English program, including first-
year academic writing, literature, and possibly creative writing.
The successful candidate will also be expected to become engaged in curriculum innovation.

Ph.D. in English required
Teaching experience at the post-secondary level required
We welcome applicants from a wide variety of specializations in English literature. Special consideration will be given to candidates with demonstrated expertise in Indigenous Literature and / or experience teaching Indigenous learners.
