Cargill’s Agricultural Supply Chain North America (CASC NA) connects agricultural producers to food, feed and industrial customers through a seamless supply chain.
We help our customers compete in the global market and efficiently deliver products from origins to destinations through our marketing, sourcing, originating, storing, trading, consulting and processing of grain, oilseeds and crop inputs products and solutions.
CASC NA business reaches across Canada, United States & Mexico with an expansive asset footprint including over 200 grain elevators, export / import facilities, oilseed crush plants, biodiesel facilities, and farm service centers.
Reporting to the Regional Sales Leader, as a member of the Farm Service Group (FSG) Leadership Team you are accountable for the sales performance and achievement of top line revenues for the FSG.
You will develop comprehensive customer-based plan to generate revenue through the sale of Distinctive Value Solutions, Grain Handling, and Crop Input products and services from a targeted group of customers.
You will also provide leadership and in-field coaching to a team of Sales Representatives, and provide leadership and oversight across all business functions of the FSG.
As a member of the FSG Leadership Team, alongside the Operations Leader, you will develop adequate business acumen across all FSG functions and services to be able to support team leadership and decision-making in all areas.
Principal Accountabilities :
40% Provide leadership, coaching and technical support to Sales Representatives including
30% Lead the sales strategy and top line revenue generation for the FSG including
30% Lead the customer focus strategy for the FSG including
o the Operations Leader and the FSG team champion the customer focus fundamentals and best practices
o the Agronomic Advisor and Grain Marketing Advisors are striving towards the overall FSG goals, execute flawlessly on the customer focus fundamentals and best practices, and participate in FSG team meetings and events
o effectively coach and develop a team of professional sales and or consultant personnel
o motivate people and focus efforts on achieving objectives
o drive a vehicle throughout the year in varying weather conditions
o be a team player and work with customers and other staff at the location and in the region
