Job Description



  • Reporting to the Project Manager, the Senior Project Management Specialist is responsible for assisting with the overall planning and scheduling of the project activities to ensure that the project is delivered in a timely and cost effective manner.
  • The Senior Project Management Specialist will work with Work with the Modification Team Lead (MTL) to Close out Reactor Waste Processing Building (RWPB) Packages for Graded & Non-Graded systems
  • Update all PCDT Packages & evidence into OPG Passport
  • Manage Comprehensive Work Package (CWP) close out staff
  • Interface with project / construction managers and field staff
  • As required, support in the planning, scheduling and executing of project activities including oversight of subcontractors, vendors and suppliers
  • Maintain excellent relationships with clients, consultants, subcontractors etc.
  • Coordinate with Quality Control (QC) to ensure adherence to close-out requirements

  • Technical (Engineering or Science / Technology) degree
  • Interest in becoming a P.Eng
  • A minimum of 3 years of proven construction / project management experience within the EPC sector
  • A minimum of 3 years of experience working in design, procurement, testing, commissioning, operation & maintenance
  • Proficient written (report writing) communication skills
  • Capable of reading and understanding engineering drawings and documents
  • Strong communication skills oral and written
  • Self motivated
  • Ability to work accurately under pressure
  • Ability to work with others as a team
  • Microsoft Outlook skills
  • Experience with Primavera P6 is an asset
  • Willingness to travel and live according to project location
