PRIMARY PURPOSE OF JOB :
Load and unload railcars in a safe and efficient manner following all procedures and completing all required paperwork. Responsible for carrying out and ensuring daily facility operations as assigned.
Ensure personal safety and follow safe operation procedures for facility.
Railcar loading and unloading.
Complete all required documentation in a timely fashion.
Be familiar with Emergency Shut Down (ESD) and start-up procedures.
Monitor capacity levels (e.g. tanks, bullets, railcars, etc.).
Follow company HSE policies, procedures and guidelines.
Maintain current safety training and certification.
Completes safety inspections, checks.
Ensure the receiving, storing, blending and shipping of product through the facilities.
Develop and sustain positive working relationships with all internal and external customers.
Ensure general upkeep of facilities.
Vehicle upkeep and routine maintenance.
Gather job knowledge through procedures and display competency in tasks(Solis).
Perform all duties and responsibilities in an efficient and timely manner.
Perform duties consistent with Gibson’s Values and Principles.
Communicate to immediate supervisor / manager of actions taken.
Represent the department and the Company in a professional manner.
May perform other duties as assigned.

Previous railcar loading / unloading, and pipeline experience is an asset.
Valid Class 5 Alberta Driver’s License.
Current safety certificates e.g. WHIMIS / TDG, H2S, First Aid, Fall Protection, Confined Space
WORKING CONDITIONS :
Most of the work is performed in an outdoor environment. Employees must wear appropriate personal protective equipment (PPE) as required by the company’s safety policies and as required for weather conditions.
This position requires physical mobility and able to perform duties at heights and / or near dangerous goods.
