    A Senior Associate based in British Columbia is needed to be responsible for helping to deliver on Operational Excellence engagement across the industries we serve.

    The individual that fills this position will be responsible for delivering on projects. This is a developmental managerial role, focused on hands-

    on consulting, in a complex and integrated environment which normally is multi-functional, multi-national, and multi-site.

    The Opportunity : Senior Associate, Operational Excellence (Lean Management) Vancouver

    The role of a Senior Associate in the Operations practice will include :

    Engagement Delivery

  • Establish credibility with prospective clients by demonstrating expertise and knowledge in operational improvement, including continuous improvement approaches such as Lean and Six Sigma;
  • Assist the engagement team to the production of quality deliverables on time and on budget;
  • Ensure buy-in of proposed solutions from top management levels at the client organization;
  • Ensure the quality of deliverables meets with client expectations;
  • Support the management of engagement risk and project economics, including planning, budgeting, billings and collection; and
  • Working on-site with Clients.
  • Business Development

  • Develop and maintain relationships with decision makers at key clients;
  • Contribute to pursuit teams and proposal development including innovative approaches and methodologies; and
  • Team with PwC colleagues in other lines of services to service client needs.
  • Travel

  • The ability and willingness to travel within Canada will also be expected in this role. You can expect up to 25% - 50% travel depending on client needs and projects,
  • Requirements :

    Candidates should have a strong track record in driving change and capturing tangible benefits in a progressive environment.

    Continuous improvement experience in Lean, Six Sigma and / or improvement methodologies is a requirement.

    Ideal candidates will also have experience in driving change and capturing tangible benefits in some of the following areas :

  • Maintenance or Turnarounds
  • Facilities and Real Estate
  • Manufacturing and Operations
  • Back Office Functions
  • Service Delivery Centres
  • Education and Experience

  • Successful candidates pursuing employment with us should have 3-5 years of progressive professional experience in the above areas
  • Bachelor’s degree
  • A high level of personal integrity and energy, a commitment to teamwork and a strong desire to learn
  • Ability to work successfully with a team under tight deadlines
  • Proven track record of high performance
  • Flexibility to apply operational skill set across multiple industries
  • Excellent communication skills; ability to work on the shop-floor and in the executive boardroom
  • Consulting Experience in related area of practice is an advantage
