Our government client is looking for an experienced Records Management clerk

EXPERIENCE

  • Experience in records management, office operations and services
  • Experience in the provision of recorded information retrieval and disposal services
  • Experience in operating a personal computer and using various software packages; Integrated Recorded Information Management System (iRIMS), LiveLink Records Server (LLRS) and Records, Document and Information Management System (RDIMS / Hummingbird eDocs);
  • Excel, and MSOutlook or other records management and word processing systems.

  • Experience in performing general administrative duties, to include office supplies, scanning, and handling and processing incoming and outgoing mail KNOWLEDGE
  • Knowledge of record systems, including classification, indexing, and cross referencing
  • Knowledge of records retention and disposition procedures
  • Knowledge of general administrative procedures
  • ABILITIES

  • Ability to prepare and move files and boxes of files to and from filing cabinets, boxes, shelves and other file storage locations
  • Ability to review files, classify correspondence and documents, list files and contents, and prepare summary sheets
  • Ability to complete and submit forms, lists and other records
  • Ability to conduct searches and locate data, compile and provide information
  • Ability to communicate effectively orally Personal Suitability
