    Job Description and Responsibilities

    EVRAZ North America is looking for an analytical, detail focused, and strong communicator to join our Compensation and Benefit team.

    The Total Rewards Analyst will be responsible to analyze and support the benefits and payroll programs for the Canadian operation of EVRAZ NA.

  • Lead testing and training of HRIS and Kronos maintenance upgrades for benefits and payroll team
  • Reconcile and process premium payments for group insurance benefits and pension plan contributions
  • Analyze data, identify, reconcile and resolve data issues with vendors
  • Manage STD, LTD and WCB claims and appeals with employees, managers, and carrier / agencies
  • Respond to group insurance and pension questions
  • Maintains knowledge of and analyzes government regulations, benefit program trends, and prevailing practices in the market.
  • Ensure compliance with applicable legislation

  • Create ad hoc reports as needed
  • Serve as a backup to running payroll and benefits data entry
  • Job Requirements

  • Degree in Human Resources, Business, or related field
  • A minimum of 3 years of directly related experience in payroll, benefits, and / or HRIS systems
  • Strong attention to detail, troubleshooting and problem solving skills
  • Strong verbal and written communication skills
  • Strong mathematical ability with an in-depth working knowledge of spreadsheets
  • Ability to research and analyze data
  • CEBS, PCP or CHRP designation is considered an asset
