life balance in order to maintain a positive working environment What This Position Is All About : The Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst will be responsible for working closely with merchant teams by becoming an expert at solving problems, gathering requirements and gauging business needs to provide reporting solutions that can be used to make better business decisions.   • Analytical skills - understand business requirements and see the bigger picture. You Also Have :
  • Post-Secondary education in Business, Information Technology or a related field of study; or equivalent.
  • Excellent retail business and application knowledge.
  • Knowledge of BI tools such as Microstrategy / Looker.
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Office, specifically MS Excel.
  • Intermediate experience with SQL.
  • Eligibility to work in Ontario. As the Business Intelligence (BI) Analyst, You Will :
  • Develop a working relationship with the business that will enable you to identify data and reporting needs.
  • Monitor use of ad-hoc reports / re-work outside of existing reporting systems and to propose permanent and automated solutions.
  • Retrieve data and educate merchant teams to analyze data and determine opportunities for improvement.
  • Analyze data across multiple systems to investigate data inquiries and solving problems.
  • Assist with designing and implementation of effective reporting.
  • Participate in user-acceptance testing and pilot groups to ensure requirements are met and implemented as per expectation.
  • Work with IT counterparts to do deep dive investigations and resolve data related inquiries.
