Job Description

The Clinical Nutrition Manager, with overall direction from the Director of Operational Support Services, plans, directs, organizes and coordinates clinical activities related to food and nutrition services, acute and long-

term care and community services clients across the region. The incumbent is responsible for developing and maintaining the client menu system for the Sunrise Health Region.

The incumbent is also responsible for the regional coordination of Registered Dietitians and the supervision of Clinical Dietitians in the Yorkton Regional Health Centre and the Community Dietitian North.

Required Qualifications

  • Membership in the Saskatchewan Dietitians Association and Dietitians of Canada are required
  • Bachelor of Science in Nutrition
  • Completion of an internship program majoring in general or clinical dietetics approved by Dietitians of Canada
  • Experience

    Minimum of three (3) years experience, as a Clinical Dietitian in a health care setting is essential.

  • Demonstrated ability to direct and facilitate change.
  • Ability to communicate and work effectively with employees, other SHR staff, patients, visitors and the public
