Lead Category Innovation for assigned categories / innovations
Guide the innovation project throughout the lifecycle; represent the voice of the stores in cross-functional innovation process (led by Merchandising)
Build relationship with relevant Managers of Retail Operations; solicit input on category innovation at appropriate intervals
Evaluate viability of new innovation in stores and provide input on operational feasibility
Work cross-functionally to define pilot criteria and guidelines for go / no decision
Coordinate training material creation with Operations Learning & Development, conduct the train-the-trainers and support rollout
Provide the content and timing for store communications (objectives and reason for innovation) and support Store Communications to deliver the messages on timely basis
Work with Construction & Engineering Design and Operations Continuous Improvement on equipment choices, department layout, process, etc.
Influence the Key Performance Indicators (contribution margin, labour costs, sales, and Good Not For Resale) for relevant category innovations in collaboration with Merchandising
Assist in the development and update of store standards for assigned categories / innovations
Own the creation / maintenance of the store standards
Manage deployment, communication and compliance measurement of the standards : business tools, process, audits
Strong ability to communicate (oral and written)
Ability to navigate within the organization
Ability to be innovative and creative
Knowledge of organization
Proficient in Microsoft Office
