CA-ON 185512 Provides first level technical application support to Logs incidents in the I.T. ticket tracking system to document requests and facilitate the resolution of issues.
Provides information about application functionalities to end users. Identifies, troubleshoots and resolves issues. Escalates issues to alternate support groups based on skill-
sets. Development and maintenance of technical and business process documentation and reference guides. in-house facility management application test environments to ensure that environments are available for pre / post production and ad-
hoc testing as well as training and transitional purposes. As part of this activity both database and application servers need to be prepared based on the project timelines and data requirements.
Also responsible for tracking the environments’ usage and publishing this information on the deployment website. Responsible for application testing due to both data and / or application changes (i.
e. post release production testing, project testing, infrastructure changes). Performs data extracts and / or produce reports based on a scheduled or ad-
hoc basis. Assists in the development and maintenance of technical and business process documentation and reference guides.
Assists users in applying business processes related to the software. Working knowledge of relational databases ( In depth MS Access / excel skills in order to perform data extracts, data loads and data analysis while ensuring the data and application integrity.
Good understanding of system integration approaches and requirements. Highly developed technical problem analysis, determination and resolution skills.
Dedicated problem solver. Strong business knowledge to support one or more of BGIS’s line of business systems. Must have demonstrated ability to evaluate business situations / requests and determine feasibility of performing the work, its related impact to other lines of business systems, and / or integration processes.
Excellent written and verbal communication skills (English) for the office environment. French is an asset. Proficient in development of reports using MS SSRS REPORT or other equivalent products.
Works well independently or in a team setting, under pressure and time constraints and can prioritize competing priorities appropriately.
Demonstrated customer service skills. Quick learner and adaptable to changes. Proficient in testing software.
