Grant Thornton LLP is currently looking for a Marketing and Communications Manager to join our New Brunswick team. In this fast-

paced and demanding role, you will provide marketing direction and support to our professionals located throughout the province.

This position reports to the Senior Manager, Marketing Atlantic Canada, and is a member of the firm-wide marketing team.

This position supports the business development goals of our NB team and the firm’s go-to-market strategy by coordinating and executing a broad range of marketing and communication activities.

This position requires travel across NB and is based in Moncton. As a Marketing & Communications Manager you will :

  • develop and execute the annual marketing plan
  • work closely with senior stakeholders in the identification and creation of lead generating campaigns aimed at clients, prospective clients or both, across a variety of channels
  • utilize Grant Thornton’s CRM and marketing enablement software to manage and measure campaign success
  • manage and track marketing activities against the annual marketing plan and budget
  • collaborate with the marketing communications team (based in Toronto) in the development of support materials including thought leadership, advertising, collateral, digital content and other support material as needed
  • plan and coordinate events and trade shows
  • plan and coordinate activities to facilitate networking for our professionals
  • strategize with the media relations manager (based in Toronto) to develop media campaigns that support planned marketing campaigns
  • review sponsorship requests and make recommendations based on alignment to strategy
  • use desk research and in-house data to research target sectors and competitors to stay abreast of trends and issues
  • maintain relationships with industry associations, as well as with venue managers and a range of local suppliers
  • manage branded merchandise inventory, coordinate product selection and orders

  • you have a Bachelor’s degree or diploma with an emphasis in Business, Marketing, Communications or related fields
  • you have 5 - 7 years of experience with a focus on planning and implementing integrated marketing communications campaigns designed to build relationships and align with business strategy
  • the fact that you have professional services experience would be considered an asset
  • you have proven interpersonal and relationship management skills with a strong ability to manage, influence and leverage a multitude of stakeholders
  • you are highly organized, self-motivated, adept at managing change and priorities with an ability to work under tight deadlines
  • you have intellectual curiosity that drives you to look further, broader, deeper
  • you are resourceful with an ability to incorporate ingenuity in the provision of creative solutions that meet client needs
  • you are fiercely committed to helping our clients, colleagues and communities thrive
  • you have experience with :
