Specific accountabilities

In carrying out his / her duties, the incumbent organizes and manages the financial and managerial information necessary for the decision-

making and execution of the Growth Markets business plan. He / She develops and implements the information, control, monitoring and projection tools for each asset and platform, in a multi-

country and multi-currency environment with distinct partnerships in various developing markets. In connection with the various regional offices, he / she is responsible for the update of the data and their publication in the various databases of the portfolio and the corporate ones.

He / She acts as a reference in the development and improvement of the monitoring tools of the business unit and governs IT projects with various stakeholders.

The incumbent analyzes portfolio data and makes recommendations for risk monitoring and portfolio performance. He / She actively contributes with the team in preparing and drafting the Growth Markets’ business and strategic plans.

The main responsibilities include :

  • Perform continuous monitoring of financial data, performance data and business unit management data while ensuring quality, accuracy and consistency of portfolio data, in accordance with the Company's standards and practices;
  • Plan, coordinate and optimize the updating of financial data, transfer of subscription models and tracking of the management data of the business unit in the various databases (e.

  • Ensure the selection, consolidation, distribution and presentation of management information relevant to the smooth running of the activities of the business unit by meeting the required standards of each committee, both in terms of budget, results, business plan and strategic plan;
  • Be responsible for the sustainability of the systems, financial and management data, and ensure that systems, tools and processes meet the needs of the business unit;
  • Establish processes to ensure quality, accuracy and consistency of the Growth Markets portfolio data through offices abroad, in accordance with the Company's standards and practices;
  • Analyze data and develop monitoring tools, analysis and dashboards that will be used to monitor the performance of the portfolio;
  • Manage projects for the development of IT tools and databases by recommending solutions to problems encountered and, by ensuring the communication and monitoring of work progress between the needs of the business unit and the IT team;
  • Produce the necessary analysis for the performance review of the business unit and recommend potential areas for improvement;
  • Prepare the financial and operational reports and make variation analysis required by quarterly monitoring the business unit in conjunction with the accounting team and asset managers;
  • Analyze monthly or quarterly financial and management reports against approved business plans and budgets and make appropriate recommendations;
  • Support the team in the preparation and drafting of annual business plans and strategic plans;
  • Coordinate some market intelligence in relation to portfolio assets or products / markets targeted by the business unit's strategic plan;
  • Perform any other duties assigned in the performance of his duties.
  • Key requirements

  • Undergraduate degree in finance, real estate or computer science;
  • Graduate degree in a relevant discipline or holding a CPA or CFA designation is an asset;
  • Five (5) to ten (10) years of experience in financial analysis, real estate or database administration;
  • Excellent knowledge of databases and Excel including the manipulation of Pivot Tables, Power Pivot and Power BI;
  • High degree of autonomy and accountability for decisions; ability to manage a complex and highly dynamic work environment (multi-

  • Rigor, attention to detail and a strong desire for continuous improvement of quality and processes;
  • Ability to work under pressure with tight deadlines (attention to deadlines), availability for flexible hours;
  • French and English bilingualism, both oral and written.
