Our client, a leading manufacturer in the in automatic door and entry industry, requires a Senior Account Manager to join their dynamic team.
The Account Manager will manager client accounts by selling products and servicing customers in supportof the organization’s financial, marketing, and production goals.
The client is a leader in door and entrance automation technology for docks, emergency rooms. The rep delivers on the brand’s promise, drives sales volume, and ensures quality and consistency to maximize customer acquisition and retention.
Generate new sales and target new business with a knowledge of the needs prospective customer
New sales must be complimented with the service sales objectives of the business
Hold extensive knowledge of Division 8 namely automatic sliding doors, swing doors, revolving doors,
Achieve and monitor sales objectives in an assigned territory or area.
Have the ability to envision sales opportunities in a broad scope way in order to attract larger, repeat clients
Work in close cooperation with branch and headquarter employees.
Have the ability to contribute to the installations project management phases including collections
Prospecting customers, presenting info, consulting, estimating, generating quotes, securing contracts, managing projects, and other related tasks associated with turnkey projects.
Knowledge of manufacturing, sales, and distribution processes, as well as product line and competition for Automatic Door and Entry Systems
Excellent analytical and problem solving skills
Proven sales success in the automatic door, entrance automation and / or overhead door industry

Concise and professional written, presentation and, and verbal communication skills
Exceptional interpersonal skills and the ability to work positively / effectively with people at all levels

Must be an excellent negotiator with the ability to call on new customers / accounts to increase sales margins

Proficient computer skills including MS Office (Outlook, Word, etc.)
Ability to read architectural drawings

EDUCATION, TRAINING, EXPERIENCE
Two years’ experience in outside direct sale / service of automatic doors or similar products
Demonstrated ability to lead and develop sales
Degree or diploma in management arena (operations, business, etc.) preferred
Experience working with general contractors and end users
