The Part-time position, offers flexible scheduling as well as a competitive compensation, a paid orientation and preceptorship program, and internal professional development training.


As a Registered Practical Nurse, you will :

  • Provide excellent nursing care, which may include wound care, IV therapy, palliative care, and tube feeding and medication administration, using your assessment, diagnosis, planning, intervention, evaluation and health teaching skills.
  • Work in the field / community / clinic setting, supporting clients and employees.
  • Be available to work minimum 3 days per week and every third weekend
  • Participate in the on-call / after-hours rotation.

    To take on the role of Registered Practical Nurse , you must have :

  • Registration as an RPN with the College of Nurses of Ontario, and compliance with all applicable laws relating to Nursing practice in Ontario.
  • RPNAO membership, CPR, a Police Check with vulnerable sector screening
  • Knowledge of IV initiation and maintenance.
  • Knowledge and experience in medical / surgical procedures.
  • Good communication skills.
  • Effective problem-solving and conflict management skills.
  • Wound care experience, an asset.
  • Palliative and symptom management knowledge and experience, an asset.
  • Experience in community nursing, an asset.
