Supporting children, youth and / or vulnerable adults in our specialized homes and in the community. These individuals require support to deal with developmental challenges and / or disabilities, mental health, and / or addiction issues and / or behavioral challenges, and / or medical issues.

Many persons served are dealing with trauma in their lives. The support you will provide will assist the person served with physical, social, emotional, medical, and life skills based on individualized plans created by a team, of which you will be a part.

Summary :

Ø A diploma in human services, care aid, or a related field and / or experience working with children with behavioral challenges or developmental disabilities are considered an asset for this position.

Ø Related work experience in the social services or health care field is preferred.

Experience Required :

  • Current Level 1 First Aid (including CPR) Certification is required· Approved Criminal record & RCMP check, updated every two years by agency· Excellent writing, data collection, and facilitation skills are required· Computer literacy (including internet) is required.
  • Safe driving record abstract will be required.
